Announcements
Touch the Temple Event-
As we approach our Touch the Temple Together Event in Nauvoo September 23, 24, and 25, we hope you will join us in this opportunity to enter the temple and participate in temple ordinances. There are two types of pre-registration that we ask of you, both accomplished through the event website, touchthetemple.com. The first registration is for participation in temple ordinances, which is accomplished through the Ordinances link. Our stake has reserved times on various ordinance sessions throughout the day on Saturday, September 24th, but we will need to release all unfilled ordinance slots to regular temple patrons on September 1, 2022. The second sign-up is a general event registration. To allow us to plan food and venue capacity, we ask that all members register their families and anyone traveling with them, so that we can get an accurate headcount.
Ministering builds temples. Temples move mountains!
We invite all to bring a name (ancestor name), a standing (active recommend), and a friend (someone you minister to).
We promise miracles in your lives and in the Stake!
ALL are welcome, and ALL belong.
As part of our desire to serve with our community, we have partnered with Together We Achieve to create a ward service day this fall. We will pack and prepare 1000 boxes of food for those in need in our community. We will meet from 9am -1pm on October 22. Approximately twenty-five volunteers are needed.
