National Day of Service
Cedar Rapids Stake will be working together to digitize cemeteries around eastern Iowa on Sunday, September 11th. Our ward will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton at 3 pm sharp. Each member participating should download the Billion Graves app and create an account. There will be more information during the second hour today. Also, see the flyer under the Flyers menu above. Touch the Temple Event
As we approach our Touch the Temple Together Event in Nauvoo September 23, 24, and 25, we hope you will join us in this opportunity to enter the temple and participate in temple ordinances. Please register through the event website, touchthetemple.com.
We invite all to bring a name (ancestor name), a standing (active recommend), and a friend (someone you minister to).

Ward Service Day
As part of our desire to serve with our community, we have partnered with Together We Achieve to create a ward service day this fall. We will pack and prepare 1000 boxes of food for those in need in our community. We will meet from 9am -1pm on October 22. Approximately twenty-five volunteers are needed.

Meetinghouse Cleaning
Cedar River Ward is assigned to clean the Meetinghouse from September-December this year. Look for your assignments in the email that will be sent out. Upcoming assignments will also be noted in the bulletin. If you have a conflict with your assigned weekend, please trade with another member or family.
